Default LED spoiler attachment to Tour-Pak

I haven't looked at one of these up close so can someone tell me how it is attached to the Tour-Pak? I assume it must come with a template and is screwed into the lid. Is it easy to change out the LED lights with a replacement kit later on?

I suppose I could get up the nerve to drill holes in a new Tour-Pak.

I like the idea of some additional run/brake lighting. One of my mods this winter is to attach a color matched Tour-Pak to my Road King and this looks like something I should also consider. Color matched saddlebags are on the way.

Yes it comes with a template. There are 4 screws that come from the bottom up into the spoiler. I always use masking tape to cover the painted surface before I tape the template on. If you follow the directions it's a piece of cake. Measure twice and drill once is the saying.

Yep,

Easy install, plug and play wiring, they look good, and they add some visibility as well.

I have one on both of my tourpaks. I had my indy change the wiring so I would have a quick disconnect right under the tourpak.

I prefer the Airwing rack with the optional led insert.
That way you get a rack on top of the Tourpack and an auxillary stop/tail light.
The Airwing Rack # 79179-08 is $179.95
The Airwing Rack LED # 68250-08 is $49.95

And yes it comes with a template to drill 4 holes into the top of the TourPack.
The wiring for the light is run inside the rack into the interior of the TourPack Lid.
