06 street glide fuse question?

Default 06 street glide fuse question?

I have a o6 street glide and on the left side of the bike where the fuses are under the side cover there is a big 40amp bus fuse.Whats that for anyone know just qurious..thanxs buy

I believe that would be the maxi fuse. I know it controls power to the starter from ing switch not sure what if anything else.

In your Service Manual it is defined as the "Maxi-Fuse." It's pulled to disable electrical connections on the bike for various repairs.

yeah thanxs I figgured it out kinda I followed the wire and saw that it went to the starter.I bought my bike used and the previous owner taped a spare to the back of the cover it just was kinda weird I thought..
