NADA list price: ya gotta be kiddin me
#31
My 07 FXD was $9995, a year ago. My 07 Road Glide, with a tour pac, heated grips, stage 1, ext warranty, etx, in mint condition was $13,500.
I just sold my 02 Road King for $8k.
Not only is the market in the crapper, the newer bikes are far superior to the older one?
Even the 07 and 08s are outmoded.
I rode my buddies 09 SG today, definitely superior to my 07.
In years past, the older bikes were close, technology wise, to the new ones. No longer true.
An 05 or 06 has an 88" ci engine, a 5 speed, the old frame and suspension, and the smaller wheels, etc. A new one can be bought for a couple thou under MSRP. Why would anyone pay over $10-11k?
Not knocking them, just do the math. Its the same with trucks, cars, etc.

frame and add weight to the bike, just to fix a so called wobble problem that may or
may not exist. 2010 could be the year all the 88" an 96" bikes become old news.
I say if you like your bike as I do my 06 RK, drive it till it drops,it's the only way
you'll get your money out of it.
