Default D&D FatCat Baffles

I tried to call D&D but they're closed until the 5th.

What is the difference in the Quiet Baffle and the Big Bore Quiet baffle other than one being larger bore, of coarse?

At what point does the big bore benefit?

I have a 95" with 590" lift cams and ported large valve heads. Would I use the Quiet or Big Bore Quiet Baffle.

I dont know about big boar baffel. but switched from standard to qquiet no huge difference in sound but the quiet actually gives you a little more performance.

With a 95" motor, I would stick with the regular quiet baffle. That will give you enough back pressure to have great torque, yet still breath enough for a strong top-end.

I just put on a Fat cat, with quiet baffle, a few weeks ago. I called D&D and asked which quiet baffle they would recommend, for my 103" engine. They said the standard quiet baffle. The big bore quiet baffle was for bigger engines then mine.

And don't be mislead by the term "quiet". It still has great sound to it. Loud enough to make you feel like you need to back off the throttle every time you see a cop.

I called today and Leonard at D&D told me to go with the Big Bore Baffle. My bike is a 95 in. with T-Man Stage II Heads, T-Man 625R Cam, 51mm Throttle Body, and Weisco pistons with 10.5:1 compression. He said the big bore was normally for more cu. in. but with the mods I have that it would let my engine breathe. I'm curious about the Big Bore Baffle as well. I'm wondering about the torque and also any sound differences?

I just bought a set of D&D's with the quiet baffles and I sent my heads and cylinders to T-Man about a week ago.

How do you like what T-Man did?
