LED Tail/Brake light

I know, the subject of tail/brake lights have been discussed over and over again but I was unable to find my answer in the achieves. I have a 09 EGC and installed the directional/brake/tail/running light conversion plug sold by HD. I would like the brake light to pulse when the brake is applied. Can I simply replace the 68167-04 stock bulb with an LED pulsating bulb? By doing so I will have the directional lights acting as running lights & brake lights while the tail/brake light pulses when the brake is applied.

Any suggestions?
