I am installing wild ones 502 12 inch apes on my bike does anybody know how much extra you have to go in the cable length. The dealer ship sold me cables that are +4 but I think they might be to short. has anybody install ape hangers on there bike let me know how much extra you went on your cables.

Thanks I went to that web site the first thing that I saw was that I got rip by the dealer big time. $ 350. For all the cables are a good price the dealer charge me close to $500. I was just wondering what other people use for there ape hangers

I am 99% certain that when I put them on my 2002 RKC I had to get +6

I am 100% that when I did a 2007 Fatboy that I used +6 as I have the packaging still here.

Go to Wild 1s website and look up your bars. Sometimes they have a chart listing such things. I emailed them on mine (16") and the info they gave me was spot on. My 16s took +10 on everything but the clutch, which was +8.

p.s. 12s ain't apes
