Default Zumo Wiring

Where did you hook up the wiring for the Zumo ? Going to mount it on the handlebar. I have an 04 RG.

Thanks Tom

Someone with a R/G will chime in soon.
On my Batwing I spliced into the cig lighter
for power. Then I ran the audio cord through the left
side of the Batwing and out the right side to the Aux
input for the radio.

I used the HDI unused connector behind the headlight and then ziptied the extra wiring the fairing bracket. Then I wired a two pole flat connector in line to take it off if I want

Wired it thru the ACC switch which is actually in the Batt Box area. Ran the wire under the Tank.

I had already used that one for my
Engine guard mounted fog lights.

Why would you need to splice the line in order to take it off? Isn't it wired into the cradle leaving the Zume free for removal? Or are you talking removing the entire mount?

ATKRWC, did mine the same way... not sure I understand the question. But I got here late, and with Dawg and Soos on it, you've got some good advice coming your way.

I came down the handlebar to the tank console, then down to the accessory plug off the battery. Used the HD splitter so I still have an accessory outlet when I need it.
