need help to choose a tour pack for a RK Classic
hello all! I need help to choose a tour pack for my RKC. The bike is a 2009 in turquoise and white. I dont know if a hard colour mached king tour pack will look fine with leather saddlebags or it is better to buy the leather tour pack for RKC.
The problem is that leather tour pack + lock set cost the same (or more) than a hard colour mached one and the hard one comes with lock and has more room than the leather one.
Have you ever seen a RKC with a hard king tour pack and leather saddlebags?
Thank you for your help

The problem is that the lids on the saddlebags will hit the Hard tour pak when you try to open them. You will be able to open them enough to sneak things in and out. The hard saddlebags open from the inside, with the hinge on the outside of the bag, giving it clearance. I have seen it on a few bikes and it doesn't look bad, just depends on how often you use the saddlebags.

I had only seen pictures of the hard TP's on RKC's before ordering a color matched hard King Tou Pak last friday for my RKC.
I thought they looked good and the extra room sold me.
I was at our local dealer here in Dallas Saturday. As luck would have it a RKC with A Color matched King TP came in to the service bay.It looked better than I had thought.
I got to talk with the couple who owns it.They had nothing but good things to say about it. They said this was their second RKC done like this.

Not HD, but a very nice alternative worth considering.
