I have searched the forum over and I cannot find the iformation that I'm looking for on lowering a 2009 RKC. I've already lowered the bike in the rear 1" using shorter shocks, but I would really like to drop the rear another 1 to 1.5". I've found a ton of kits out there to accomplish this on baggers with hard bags, but nothing for the RKC. Yes, I realize that this may change the way the bike rides and handles, but I'm not that worried about it. Any suggestions?

 

You might have your seat modified. Look at Mean City Cycles this forum for some possible alternatives.

 

I'm studying and gathering data, preparing to lower my RKC as well. Not for a lower ride height, my inseam and the bike get along well now, but for aesthetics and a different ride experience with respect to the suspension.

I'm considering going with an air suspension and here's a link to a thread where folks chimed in with manufacturers, installation experiences and the pros/cons of it.
