Time to change the oil. Is HD the only filter for these bikes?

I like the K&N with the welded nut on the bottom. Makes removal easy. HD one was a chore to remove.

I too use the K&N with the nut welded on it. Simple, simple removal and install. I believe the part number is KN-171C

8 psi by-pass valve,
anti-drain back valve.
Available filters include

No that some of the aftermarkets aren't OK but why not get the one that is made & recommended for your bike ? The GOOD aftermarkets aren't any cheaper !!!

I.am thinking...Amsoil chrome or black is a 3 micron {which is finer} + alot cheaper in Canada.

Do any of those "after-market filters" listed have a NUT welded to the bottom like the K&N?
