I'm not a fan of off the wall colors -- but i rode down to Winchester harley the other day and saw a rootbeer colored street glide that impressed me..... i want to see it on an ultra and in the sunlight -- but i REALLY LIKED what i saw

I agree, I like that RB color. For a stock color, I think it looks very nice. Makes me wish I had that color........

My local dealership has a 09 Ultra in the RB. A guy was looking at it and asked them to roll it into the sunshine so he could see. I think it looks great. really stands out in the light. If it would have been available when I bought mine I would have done it.

Default Root Beer Street Glide

I couldn't agree with you more on the color. It looks maroon on the Harley website, but a member was nice enough to post a picture of one he saw at a bike show. That's all the convincing I needed. Sunlight really shows the colors at their best.

On the showroom floor the streetglide looked like it had alot of flake in the paint... it may shine a lil too much for me once the sun hits hit

I saw one of the root beer colored bikes today. I didn't like it at all - but that's just me. The red & gold ones float my boat, but to each his own.

Ride safe,

John

I just went and saw the bike yesterday. Not really that impressed but it's not an ugly color either. Count me neutral. As was said, it might look better in the sun but it's still brown and I don't really care that much for the color combo. It's nice to see different color combo's out there but at least this one isn't going to get me the tinest bit jealous.
