The 500 has a very slight lope... nothing radical by any stretch, but noticeably "not stock".

Sounds like you "get it" and know what to ask and what you're looking for. As such, listen to the Pro's that do it for a living.

Thanks again, Phil! That's just the information I was looking for.

If you want to see the specs and a few videos of my current (and probably last) go fast toy, check out my '00 Corvette here----> http://xtrooper.net

Short shifting would drive me nuts, but then that's me. :-)

I have an 11-second 'Vette for those times when I feel the need for speed. On the Electra Glide, I'm strictly a plodder.

Default Head quarters cams

Question is why not go to the man himself, Doug Coffee.

www.headquarters.com is the web sight, saw it today seems they have been busy up dating it. They've always been good at educating customers!

Another question to ask is how to deal with heat management with that engine! That should also be part of the package when leaving the parameters of a stock engine.

Umm......thanks for that, but if you had taken the time to read the thread, you'd know I've already been in contact with Headquarters. It was they who recommended their TC-500-HC cams to me.

Default Idle with 204s

At 1000rpm the idle is slightly lopey and noticeable if you know what to listen for. I have my idle set at 984rpm, and you can definitely tell there are upgraded cams in the motor. The lower idle does not affect the rideability, and I like the sound and shake.

Just a quick note that the 525's are for the '09's with lower gearing.

Steve that Vette is Bad A$$! Love it; I have had a few older ones, but the new Vettes are much more fun (by the way, do you get any professional courtesy when taking a brisk spin? I have lived close to PA - in Morgantown, WV - and they do not cut much slack on that side of the Mason Dixon line).

Not to hijack the thread, but any thoughs on how that HQ 500 would behave in my TC96?
