I just ordered my painted innerfairing and cant decide what to do about mirrors. I have fairing mirrors now, but i dont know if i want to drill the painted inner or not and REALLY dont want to put black fairing mirrors on it. I am so use to the mirrors i have i worry that i wont like bar mounted ones.
So my question is what did you use when you put your painted inner on??

 

I had a buddy that just changed out the mirrors for the bar mounted ones and loved them? Ive never ridden with the fairing mounted ones so i wouldnt know... You mirrors can be painted to match but at a price..

 

Or you can get chrome fairing mirror covers from HD

 

I did the painted inner on my 07' SG, and I went with the HD split vision bar mount mirrors. The work great!

 

I have a painted inner fairing. (black) This winter I had Performace Machine mirrors put on. I like the contrast witht he chrome and black. If you want to see a pic go to Ebay. Look up Performance Machone. There should be mirrirs on there with pics.

 

I went with wicked image to replace the stock batwing mirrors. Much better looking mirror with a painted inner.

Any mirrors..The painted inner looks so cool nobody will pay attention to the mirrors..

 

I used the Kuryauken chrome mirrors with the extension. THey move out about 3" and have an led turn signal in them. They fit in the same holes as the fairing mount mirrors. I haven't ridden with them yet, but sat on the bike and I think I'll really like them. They really look good!!

 

Aaron, with the wicked image set up how thick is it viewing from the side, does it set tight to the inner? How's the view, a lot of people complain not enough adjustment with the stockers but mine work great and if I swap out I don't want to loose any adjustment or site picture.

 

you could send the mirrors out to be painted to match the inner? I have seen it and they look sharp, I used the Kuraykin mirror caps!
