I just put heat demons on my 08 ultra and i love them . I also have heated gloves, but they are bulky...I will get more use out of my heat demons then i will the goves. I don't see why the dealership would care about putting them on. I got my heat demons off ebay for 110.

 

I have heated grips on my treasured 95 RK, my 09 RKC and my Wifes 07 RKC all installed by me. I had also put them on her now gone 02 RKC. I think they are great and of the most value on a moderately cold day when it is not cold enought to cause you to stop to change gloves but cold enough for your hands to hurt.
