Default Detachable Tour Rak Storage for under $20

Here’s what I did to store my “Detachable Tour Pak”.

I went to Lowes and bought a couple of speed rack brackets, some threaded rod and aluminum tubing. I could have used a bigger threaded bolt and not the tubing, but I just thought over time the threads (on the threaded bolt) might chip the chrome off the Tour Pak rack.

I hung it between the two garage doors. It was just the best and easiest out of the way place for me (and I could find the studs easy there to mount the rack too).

All in all, it was about $20.

I'm inspired. Gonna do it myself this weekend, I gotta go to Lowe's anyway. Gonna do a double one for my backrest too.

Nice work. Unfortunately, you have now voided the HD warranty
