Well, a lot more $ invested perhaps (I decided I didn't want to do a little here and a little there, like I did with my 07 UC, so I just went full bore out of the gate on the 09)!

It took me about 4 hours but that was due to two things. I had a hard time getting the radio bolts back on (4 of them) and when I thought I was finished, I had problems with the ignition switch. It had come loose in the fairing and I didn't see it. Thought I screwed up the ignition but after finishing and finding the loose connection, it really was an easy operation.

 

I will say that these inners are very very sharp! I would of never guessed that it made that big of a difference when the inner is painted to match! But let me tell you, I think it was the best upgrade that I did on my bike yet!

OK, where did we get the painted speaker kit? Looks incredibly good.

King Crimson, those are in fact Hogtunes Tweeter Pods, and they were just painted to match! I might add that I love the color of your bike we must have good taste!

I have a 04 FLHTCI and turned that into a Road Glide in 06 and just put back to the EG - on both I have the Gloss Black inner and I do think they look GREAT - However, with that, they are a dust Magnet - anything other than black would be easier to keep clean - just wanted to warn the guys thinking of doing this - they look great but are a little more upkeep - esp if you ride a lot....

Finally got some pics of the matched inner fairing as well as the mug root beer dog on the rear fender. FYI if in york county the guy worked for a good price $60.00 for the dog took him 2 1/2 hrs.
