Default Ultra Clock losing time

My 08 Ultra radio clock seems to lose several minutes every couple of weeks. Searched the archives and found a link to a software upgrade, but my bike has the upgrade version already. Any other ideas why it might lose time? I was late to a few things before I learned not to trust the clock. It's easy to reset, but it doesn't make sense to be losing time. Surely there's a clock battery in the electronics that would maintain the clock when the radio is powered down. Anyone else experiencing this?

My 06 RG clock gains time. I just adjust it every month or so.

My '87 analog clock keeps perfect time to this day. Improved technology isn't always the better deal....

Mine is the same way, I set it 5 min earlier about a 2 months ago and now it is about 2 min behine. I ask the sevice magr. and he didn't have an answer. So I guess we just have to keep adjusting it!!

The radio clock on my RG loses time also. Pretty much the same pace that you're Ultra does. F'n amazing that something that should be so simple as an accurate digital clock isn't on a $20,000 bike! Don't get me wrong. I love my bike. But HD sure does miss the mark on more than a couple of quality issues!

Dude, the bike is sooooo fast your messing with the time space relationship....You just need a new flux capacitor and you'll be all set

Just had mine in for the 5,000 mile check. I hadn't taken the time (pun) to look in the manual on how to adjust it. So... I had the dealer do it. I told him that it was losing time. As long as we can continue to manually adjust it they'll continue to treat the clock just like the bad batch of alternators they never recalled.
