Run 15-20 solo/two-up with correct tire pressure.

I can't stand much more than 5lbs. when I'm solo (185 lbs.) and don't have much in the bags. Run about 8 to 10 when fully loaded.

I run 5-8 pounds solo (I weigh about 250). With 2 up about 17#. I used the trial and error method to find what seemed most comfortable for me. I'd say you'll need to do the same.

Word to the wise, becareful using the HD pump. By the time you un-screw the end from putting air in, it lets all the air back out of the shocks.

Is too much air in rear shocks bad for control, and far as brakeing? Lets say 18 lbs weight at 295.

The HD pump is a "no loss" unit.

Not sure how you're losing all the air when you remove the pump.

It does have a bleeder valve.
Maybe it's open or something?

There is no loss of air using the HD pump. Used it a dozen times...it retains the exact amount of air that I had last put in it.

BTW for me it's about 3-5psi solo and about 10-12 2up. I'm 190 she's 130.

Not at all. At 295 you might be about dialed in.
