Default Saddlebag Extension Kit - Pictures

I don't usually post too many pics of my bike, but I thought some of you might want to see what HD's new saddlebag extensions looked like, installed. I really liked the way they looked on the 09 CVO Road Glide and ordered a set as soon as they showed up in the current catalogue. Of course they were back ordered and took two months to come in. Zanotti's and a couple other places are selling them for around $233....part# 90999-09 They're pretty easy to install (make sure you get enough glue on the inside, all the way around) no body work to do, just paint. Some people aren't going to like the lip, I did, just because I like the way it breaks up the bag.

No, I didn't forget to install the locks.....when my new hard bags came in this spring, they forgot to order the locks (I'm still waiting)

I like it, very clean look, especially with the turndowns. The price seems reasonable also.

Thanks kevin.

tslonige, I was pretty impressed with the fit and as you say, when you factor in that there's no cost for body work, the cost is really cheap.

Leo, damn that Glide looks good, if it hasn't been in a mag yet, you should be sending them pics.

Just leave the dummy muffler hanging. I have a buddy that did that. He left the header on and just cut if off up near the other pipe and capped it.

Now add the street glide rear facia to finish off the rear and it will line up with the extensions.

Looks good, I don't mind the lip either, like you said it does break up the side. That being said, I'll probably get the full bottoms they are selling now though. LOL

Put the rear facia on too. It comes painted I believe.
