Default Change that fork oil!

Just thought I would include a pic of my fork oil at 10k contrasted with a fresh batch that is going in. Both are the same brand of ATF, which works just fine for me. At 10k you cannot detect the grit you can at 20k. Maybe about 15k would be ideal, but the Moco's suggested 50k is absurd.

If ya didn't ride over bumpy roads, that wouldn't happen now.

Changed mine at 8K and was amazed at just how crappy fork oil only used for friction fighting and shock compression, not exposed to combustion or outside contaminets could get. Now on my routine maintenence every 5K.

I've read somewhere that the oil is that color going in because it is a fish oil or something. We need someone to replace their oil out of their new bike.
