Default Front end wobble - 1999 Ultra

Hi all.

Lately the front end has started to wobble a bit when decelerating but only between 35 and 25 mph ... other speeds are stable. Also it doesn't do it all the time. The wobble is subtle but there, holding a bit of hand pressure and you don't even feel it. Tires are 60% worn, tire pressure is 40 front and back, 50000 miles on the bike.

Front head nut is a bit loose? Other suggestions?

Thanks.

Check the neck bearings per the service manual, re-pack and torque to spec. You also might want to check the front wheel bearings as well. Don't mess with a wobble in the front end. They can go from mild to dangerous quick.

My $0.02

get the bearing tightened, until you do don't ride except to the service shop.
