One thing to consider on the lift tables is the cost of freight. I'm going to get a Panther lift in the coming months. Turns out we have a distributor about an hour away that I can pick one up from. It's not really that much more than the Harbor Freight, and it appears to be much higher quality.

This is the table lift I have in my garage for my Ultra and XBones. I like the removeable side panels for working on the bike, but are essential since I use the lift as a daily parking place for the Ultra. This lift is built like a tank, but is less expensive than the Handy lifts. Here is the link: http://www.completehydraulic.com/lif...cle-tcmlw.html

Thats the same lift I have... Surprise, surprise, turns out Handy does in fact build that lift or has there "Hand" in purchasing them... Bought mine from complete in 07, then in 09 went to make a stand purchase from Handy and had the guy look my account up for shipping/billing... he asked me if my account had a Handy lift on it and I said no. Come to find out it was my lift from complete, but Handy either purchases for them or is their supplier! Not sure how all this works, but in the end I got one hell of a lift for a third of the money the big boys would charge.

Waterbug, that is amazing. I know that when I bought it Complete said that is was an Handy Lift cloned lift. I know that it is built like a tank. Ever look at the hydraulic cylinder on it. It must have come off a dump truck...it is that big. Jerry

J and S Jack, very stable.

http://www.jsjacks.com/index.htm

I started with a red atv jack from Sam's and then tried the Sears yellow. Both of those were too wobbly for my taste.

+1 on the $300 table. Works great for home use. Holds both my RK and Duc no problem (I get the wife to tighten the front wheel vice before I get off it. She's a good sport!)

I wouldn't recomend it if your lifting 10 bikes a day (as it's short stroke foot pump). But for home use it's great.
