Hardest part is getting the bar clamp cover off. you have to remove the headlight to loosen the nuts on the trim spear and the front of the clamp cover. don't remove the nut from the screw on the clamp cover to prevent loss into the black hole there. the cover will be removable with careful manuevering.

I done the job OK. I removed the screen, head light rim (dont lose the sprung wire, then the headlamp, once inside that, undo the nut under the shell for the top trim, then the one further inboard but not fully, just loose.
Undo one side of the headlight shell, 2 nuts on the side and split the sheel slightly to enable the top trim to slide out.
The cover over the handle bars have 2 bolts under the ignition cover which can be prised off slowly. There may be snap bolts instead of bolts so you will have to tap them round with a punch and slot them to replace.
