Default Left Muffler Steam / Smoke at Start-up

I have an 09 Ultra with stage 1, SEAC, PCV and Monster Ovals. Every time I start the bike cold I get some steam or smoke coming from the left (jiffy side) only. It goes away after warmup and doesn't do it if I start te bike warm. It lasts for about 2 or 3 minuutes and then goes away. I think it's just steam and not smoke. Otherwise bike runs great. Anyone else have this? Thanks.

Steam and water drips form the front of the muffler. Think I need a new muffler clamp.

Should have kept the proven bike.

Vehicles with cats will do that when cold or outside temps are low enough. The cat converts the unburnt Hydrocarbons to water and Carbon dioxide. When the engine is warm enough the water will flash to vapor and isn't visible if the outside air is warm, if the air is cold you see it as steam/fog. When the pipes are cold it condenses to liquid and drips out of the pipes, if you look close at the muffler you should see a drain hole, it's designed this way so the muffler doesn't rot out.

Since you live in an icy hell this time of year you'll see it dripping out Chuck.

Are the Monster Ovals a glass pack type muffler? The packing material will trap moisture. No matter. Most of the exhaust goes out the right muffler. So, the left side does not get as hot to burn the moisture out. Nothing to lose any sleep over.
