bman - thanks for the pics> went out to ride with the weather being great and - dead battery. Your pics made it a snap to remove battery and get it on the charger.

Thanks for the write up, just got a 2012 Street Glide, new to me, 5,000 miles and it does not have the battery tender plug on it, so I have an extra one and it will be installed tonight. Battery tender is awesome, makes the battery last a lot longer.

Decided to bring this one back. The service manual says slide the caddie tray out which I found to be unclear. Googled and found this old thread from five years ago. Went out and in seconds had the caddie off. One poster asks about the security system. The manual says to turn ignition switch to on with the fob on you to disconnect the battery if the siren is installed.

Again this is a great write up with great pics!
