I'm shocked to hear they had the audacity to actually ask for a blank check. I hope they weren't serious

I can't hardly believe they asked you to do that!!
Tell the dealer to pay for it and THEN when you get back or they have a real total...you will send them a check.
Seems they could give a man a break who is serving overseas....DAMN!

I would not write them a blank check. dont trust them. Wright it to me and I will take care of it for you Makes about as much sense

In these days of PayPal, email, TXT messages, etc., there's no GOOD reason to write them a blank check. Tell 'em, "Bite me!"

I agree, do not send a blank check. I am interested in seeing how this turns out. I just ordered an Ultra for delivery to the states. I hope my dealer does not ask me for the same.

The dealer should be able to estimate the cost.
Every new vehicle I have bought,the dealers always added the cost in.A few times I received a refund for being over charged.
The tax is based on the county you live in and registration fee is what the state sez it is.
Say no to the blank check.
