Hopped on my RG this morning to drive to work and the LED/LCD whatever it's called is blank. The radio works, and the CD player works, but no readout. Anyone else ever have this problem? I guess when I get home I'll

My read out is working but the panel lighting hasn't been working steadily lately. It comes on for a few seconds when I hit a hard enough bump or tap on the screen. I would think its covered by the warranty.

I hope it's covered under warranty. That's why I want to check the manual tonight.

It is covered but all they do is replace with a re-mfg. Unit from what i understand. ( not sure of this for sure so don't shoot me.) however, best decision i made was throwing mine in trash and replacing with a biketronics system. No affiliation with these guys but good products imo. Know money is tight and i could not afford to do it again right now but just sayin.....ride safe....

I'm not sure this is your problem, but it happened to me. You can adjust the backlight, just go to your owners manual in the radio section . I accidently faded by backscreen to the point it was blank.
Hope this helps Jonnierock

Thanks, I'll give that a shot tonight. I rode home in the dark last night and did notice my back light is working. If not I guess I'll be making an appointment. Thanks for the input
