My 06 Road King has a rubber bumper on the rear fender. I went to remove this thing to clean up the rear fender, and found that it has to be there for the saddle bag supports. Any way around this ?
You can replace the chrome bracket/rubber bumper with p/n 91140-04; it's what's used on Street Glides, Road Glides, and Road King Customs in lieu of the chrome/rubber bumper on pre-'09 models. Double check the p/n; it's been a while since I swapped out my rear fender for the SG fender set-up.
Oh good, I was about to crank the welder up and fab one up. I hate that rubber bumper on there. And hell, my exhaust will hit before that abortion makes contact. I'll check it out. Thanks

That is the correct pn# $41.95 retail. I use one on mine because I ditched all the bumpers front and rear
