I remember seeing this a while back when you first posted it. Just this morning I searched and found this post and emailed it to my friend. I agree, it should be a sticky. Simple to understand, excellent video and you went through every possible senero one could encounter.

What a freaking UNDERSTATEMENT! Swapped out my cans and lower sliders today and took maybe 5 hours or a tad more. Did a few other things and went to put switch back in and OMG, what a FUGGIN royal pain. Took a LONG *** time and STILL NOT IN. I remembered this video and have to pickup a scrap piece of pipe tomorrow and make that tool and hopeffully all wil be ok.

I was worried about removing my ignition switch until this video was posted.

I just finished swapping chrome fork legs on my bike. I did it myself and found all the related threads more helpful then my owners manual. Thanx again!
