Default Video of ignition switch removal

I've had a bunch of emails since I posted some pictures of the ignition switched removed. I helped them all but never like this. I had some spare time and was really board so I made quick video showing how to do it. I hope this can help some of you out.

Nice video CLL375! About how long is the flat part of tool before you get to the bushing?

Thanks guys. I believe it was 1/4" copper tubing ( I know I said brass) I had left over from a project. I was going to make out out of steel but it was late and I didn't want to start up the grinder. It worked so well I kept using it. I used electrical tape for the spacer which is 3 1/4" from the bottom. Not bad for free!

Great video. Does that work on the earlier ignitions like a 2002? They don't turn as far in the LOCK postion as the newer ones.

I'm not really sure but knowing how Harley never changes the small things; it may work. Hopefully some will chime in.

Thanks dude, I was missing the step with the key itself.
I can now take care of changing my fork oil. Thanks for
helping folks like myself.
