Welcome to the forum. Do a search and you will find all you need on oil. The only problem is nobody agrees on the same combo. So take the info and make your own decision.

I use Amsoil 20/50 in my 2008 Ultra and have in previous Harleys.

I change mine every 2500 miles so i dont see a great need for the synthetic. Just my 2 cents

I prefer the oily variety what comes in quart bottles.

I don't know about this one..... I looked up all the tech data and the MTL does not say for use with a wet clutch. Red Line does have a primary fluid that claims to be the same great formula as the MTL but with an additive package designed for use with wet clutches. You have to watch those friction modifiers for the clutch.

That is why you can use regular "car" Mobil 1 in the engine. The engine oil does not mix with the clutch and transmission like in most imports.

Personally I use Amsoil 20w50 in my bike (not a Harley - I'm a wanna have one).

i'm in louisiana, what weight blinker fluid should i use for the winter? and should i go synthetic or dino?
