Default Home Made Saddle Bags Racks (PIC'S)

Several guys have asked for some measurements on these. They are made out of 3/4" PVC. All of the measurements are to the outside edge.

I got the idea for these from another member a long time ago.

I changed his design to make them stronger. I use them all the time and they work great. I picked up everything at Lowes.

It takes about 20 to 25 feet of 3/4" PVC
12 elbows
20 Tee's
Glue & Primer

Hope this helps you guys out.

These measurements put the metal brackets on the back of the bags in contact with the PVC uprights and not the painted bags.

Any place were there is any contact to the paint I put soft velcro that you can see in the pics.

all you need now is a simple strap/fastener on the center of the bag to keep them from tipping over by accident, thanks again

Thanks, think I'll make one this weekend. Think I'll make it out of 3/4" copper pipe.
