Just to said I did it, I called all of the local H-D service departments to see if they disassembled and had Ultra Classic tour pak's repainted. It turns out that 5 out of 7 use a painting source in the Dallas area. I would guess it's the same one for all 5. Does anyone know what the name of that paint shop is? I had much rather cut out the middle man, (H-D Dealer) if you know what I mean.

 

The HD dealers in the Centeral Texas where I live use a painter in Keller, TX which is just outside Fort Worth the shop's name is Colorworks in Keller, TX 76248 - (817) 337-5141. Had them paint my inner fairing came out Great!

 

Where are you , I may be able to help. I run fixed ops at two Ford Stores in Sherman / Denison and my guys are bikers and are/have painted my stuff for me.

Your the man. Colorworks in Keller Texas are going to do more for around $150.00 less than OSC a Dallas area paint shop. I'm taking the tour pak to him on Saturday. Thanks for the lead.

I called Mike at North Star Motorcycles this morning and he does this work at home and doesn't have the special rivit tool and doesn't use the same rivits Harley parts are. He must be doing something right with a 2 week back log.
