My 103 cranks hard and has manual releases. IF I forget to use the releases when Hot it'll try to crank, then backfires sometimes. If you got 'em, use 'em. Building another 103 w/ 10.5 to ones and using automatic releases this time, sick of burning my fingers.
-Got a Dyno run using the SE259's? I've been anxious to find out how they perform, any low end? I'm running Andrews 55's and they RIP from 2300 up w/ good heads. I've still got a set of Crane 290-2's on hand, has anyone ran THEM @ 10.5 to one? Is there a link to member's cam evaluations anywhere?

Running a HQ 120" at 10.5:1. Have toured all over the US with it, 35k miles on the build do far and very reliable.

When you build, have it tuned for the gas/elevation in your area. When touring, if you get into poor gas, high elevations, etc, it may mean you might have to downshift a little earlier to avoid detonation, but still very rideable.

I have a 2010 Ultra in my garage now that I am doing HQ 107 10.5:1 build for the owner. No problems or worries as far as reliability or rideability.

Anyone running a 98" at 10.5? I'm curious which cams you're running.

Thanks,
Rick
