2009 Streetglide 16" or 18" apes?

Default 2009 Streetglide 16" or 18" apes?

I am 6'1" going to put apes on my sreetglide trying to decide on 16 or 18 inch BR custom apes, does any one have pics of there baggers with these on. Specify length and any advice would be appriciated.

mines a road king with a detatch fairing. from what im seen from street glides dont think you wanna go higher than 16's. im 6'1 with a rally runner seat. I got 16 chubbys

JMHO go with the 16s there comfortable and look great mine are cyclesmith i liked em better than chubbys and the rest. but thats not to say the others are bad really anything would look good. but the ones that killer are paul yaffe monkey bars. check my bars out on my sig.

Is it legal in you state to have handlebars over 15" above the seat?
My friend here in LA just got a $190 for having 18" ape hangers on his Road Glide

i had 16 on my RK with a hoppe fairing they were great im 5"11 so 18 might be better for you

Make sure whatever you choose doesnt block your view of the stock mirrors if you plan on keeping the stock ones

Default Well I decided to go with 17"s

I decided to get BR customs make a pair, they are bad to the bone. I'll post a pic when I get them on.
