The starter actually fell off my 07 Ultra while on a trip last summer....What a mess, oil everywhere. Harley has issued a service bulletin on improper starter bolt torque from the factory.
They recently replaced my clutch basket and starter gear because of the problem.

[quote=bezoar;6105767]We've had a bit of a winter in KY. Today it warmed up, went to start and nothing. The turn signal arrows blinked on and off multiple times. Lights on, horn blows, etc. Doubt its' battery. What does blinking turn signal arrows mean.
[ the problem is simple, change the small battery in your security device, looks like a watch battery]

When my security is enabled, that is exactly what my bike does when you try to start it. I have the old push button key fob but i would think it would act the same.
Is your red key icon light on the speedo flashing?

it sounds like the battery in your key fob is dead from your description. walmart+3 or 4 bucks for a pair of batteries=problem solved, likely.
