the painter charged me an extra $25 to hand paint the matching stripes on my fairing, then cleared over them. you can't even feel the stripes are there, but they sure look good!

Harleys painted stripes are done with a robot.I had a friend in the paint shop in York

i put an aftermarket fairing (Deadcentercyclesfairing) on my 07 Road King and its the best investment i made on the scooter yet. I went all out with striping, airbrush graphics,all paint no tape,spend the extra you will be glad you did.

Get the small bottles of touchup paint. The ones that cone with the small brush attaches to the cap. They come in the correct colors for the year of the pinstripes you nred. Get the painter to dilute the paint & load it into his gun. Now he will be able to perfectly match the original pinstripes. Most guys painting use pinstriping tape. Wetsand before painting and after to make the lines as smooth as possible. Clear cost and you're good for a long time.

Don't tape it, you'll regret it. Any reputable striper can match what you've got going on. Do it right the first time.
