Talking 120 hd 140+ hp

Just got back from my local hd shop and the part's manager show's me a print out of the new screaming eagle pro 120. Price, $5,600 and change. That's less than a new 96,103,110 c.i. motor. Got me thinking. So I ask him how much out the door with my 103 in trade. He say's I'm guessing $4000.00 for your motor plus three hrs. labor, right around $2000.00 out the door! I SAY ARE YOU SERIOUS! When can we do it? He then say's first let me double check on the price on your motor for trade, and I'll get back to you. I'm almost certain once he think's about what he originally said, my motor will be worthless. We'll see. This new motor will be presented tomorrow to the public, according to him.

For about $2000 OTD with trade from 103 to 120 they'd have people lined up out the door, across the parking lot and into the street. Wait and see I guess but holy crap.......

Yeah, let me know. For that price I want one too. Hell maybe I'll take two of them.

Yep, I'm not a believer, but if it's true the line is already forming!

This is one of those "if it sounds to good to be true, it probably is" !!!. And you have to remember that you will need a strudier clutch, larger injectors, better exhaust and a full tune not to mention oil, filters, etc. Hell, I would be looking for stock engines to trade by the handfull if I could get a 120 for that price, even if it is an HD build.

Yeah, that is to sit and think what a dumbass he is for telling a customer about $2000 for a 120. Hell, you cant build a decent 103 for that kind of money if you include labor. Sheesh.
