Xied's, HD breather, and a set of Rush slip-ons w/ 2" baffles
for 23k miles.
They definatly cooled the bike considerably, and gave me a
little more throttle response.....and my mileage varies between
44 and 51 mpg riding 2-up.......10 mph over the
posted speed is just fine with us, no need to run WOT where we go.

Thumbs up

Bought an 2007 Ultra last September. Bike was very hot , and did not want to void extended warrenty! Thought if I broke down could remove them where ever very easy! Bike was stock when I first installed them. Last week put on K&N Air filter with their backing plate and velocity stack just fits under the chrome cover alot more surface are than stock.
Also got a nice set of Supertrapp mufflers! Removed the xieds went to Harley got the Stage1 download, as I understand the VE table (volumetric efficency) is a fixed table in the ECM and when you do not change that table and add the A/C and mufflers bike will run lean ( cars have a Mass Air Flow Sensor that calibrates this info on the fly for the ECM)!I do not think that AFR or Ignition timing is alterd by new upload, not sure about the increasd rpm's. Reinstalled xieds when I got home. Lost 2-3 mpg in stock for with xieds. Deffintally richer (stock) as the inside of the muffler's turned stoot black. Bike sounds great seems to run more effortlessly now at 80 on the Highway! Xieds only work in closed loop which is where I ride most of the time and O2 sensors are not used when WOT by the ECM that is with or witout the xied's. About I can tell you I like the product really don't plan to do anything more to the motor for now bike will haul 2 up at 100 thats OK for us!

I've been running XIED's for almost 2 years, they work great, as above - better acceleration, cooler, and I am able to use 6th gear at 60 mph.

Does anybody have a set of XiED's for sale that would work on a 08 Sportster? Thanks.

Check the classifieds sections of the boards-

you can check nightrider.com for which model xieds/vieds are suited for your bike.

and lastly, Steve Mullen ( nightrider) offers a mil disc at the website if that applies to you.
