Talking ignition coil test advice

2001FLHT CARB MODEL, Stopped firing without warning. The ignition coil testing across the secondary(where plug wires go) is testing 11,500 ohms.
The manual states it should be between 5500 & 7500 ohms. Could this be my problem? Would this keep it from firing, having to high of a reading? Any advice appreciated.
I can't seem to get any codes, could the coil be bad and not show a code??

Default coil values

When testing the coil on your bike, those values are if you put your test leads on:
1. The "B" pin of the 4-pin connector and
2. One at a time, the spark plug wire post.
Problem I'm having is when I do that I only get about 3,300 ohms. Went to the dealer and picked up a brand new one and its ohms out the same, maybe 100 higher. But no where near the 5K to 7K in the book.
I'd be interested in hearing if anyone else see's similar readings.

Now this is for an EFI model. not carb. but the secondary pin locations are the same.
