Default Tour Pack not in need alternate packing advice

I order a Hot Citrus/Antique Gunstock King TP 6 weeks ago with no signs of it getting in anytime soon. I'm leaving on a 4,000 trip from KC to Key West March 30th and was wanting some advise on an alternative method of luggage. I have a 2012 CVO SG with three seat options a C&C solo seat with backrest, a stock seat from an Ultra with backrest and the stock CVO seat without backrest. I don't want to invest too much in luggage since I'm already out $1,500.00 for a tour Pack that I hopefuly will recieve in the next 3 weeks. The CVO SG has lid speakers and one amp in the saddle bags taking up space. Options?

Go to Wally World and buy a cheap nylon duffle bag. A couple bungee cords, and you're all set. Pack your stuff in plastic bags, to keep things dry in case you get caught in the rain.

This is fairly inexpesnive and actually well made at less than 100 bucks. Mine has lasted more than 30k miles with no problems.

I got a Nelson Rigg off Ebay and before that I used the dry bag from west marine. The dry pack worked the best.

+1 I have the same set. Works well if you travel alone you can strap it behind you and lean up against it.

+2 This bag has served me well for a long time. The only thing I did to it was spray it down really well with a waterproofing spray I picked up from walmart. Let it dry for 24 hrs and I have yet to see anything I pack init get wet and I have ridden in some serious turd floaters!

I use a tbag, big, configured well, rigid, waterproof ( and has resale value if you want to unload after 1 use). check your local craigslist.

careful of a duffle or other "limp" bag which can sag and scuff your paint on fenders or saddlebags.

Maybe with luck your tourpak will show up, I have ordered painted parts before and they all did take "4 to 6 weeks" but not longer.

make sure you have everything you need to mount it up if it arrives 2 days before you blast off.

alternate, pack a bunch of stuff in a box and UPS to your destination

Ditto on any type of bags. I got T-bags off of craigslist and fit them over the passenger backrest resting on the luggage rack (since we were two-up). Solo rider wouldn't need luggage rack since you can use the seating area of passenger to rest bag on. You can pack a lot of stuff in them. But what's convenient is they come off and go into the hotel easy.

I use this "WATERPROOF CLOTHING BAG USGI" can be found for less than 7 dollars and I can just grab the bag from within the bag and take it into the room.

added: there is a lot of good militay items on the market and most of it is cheap.

Thanks for the replies. I may go with that bag. I have a solo TP mount and a new TP Airwing luggage rack set up for the new tour pack when it arrives. I was thinking of trying to mount the Air Wing luggage rack to the solo tour pack mount some how and use it to strap on the new bag so I can use my C&C solo seat. I think if I get a scotch and stare at the two I should be able to figure something out.
