Would appreciate "helpful hints" and step by step - how best to lube my clutch cable - best lube product recommendations and "how to" as I have not done did this myself.

Loosen cable at adjuster located at mid cable. Take circ clip holding pin in clutch lever off, remove pin, take cable off, and flow some cable lube into cable.

I happen to like Tri-flow for this application. It has Teflon in it which the plastic lined cables need and even if it isn't plastic lined it's still an excellent lube.

I also use tri-flow man that stuff is great. I use it on my guns and fishing reels. I also use this cable oiler to help push the lube all the way through the cables. http://www.jpcycles.com/search/produ...ement_search=1

Here's another way to do it.

I use a syringe and just stick the needle along side the cable up by the clutch handle. I use 3 in 1 oil.
