New AMSOil EaOM134 Oil Filter size?
Anyone use the new AMSOil EaOM134 oil filter? I use to use the SMF134, but AMSOil came out with this new one. The EaOM134 appears smaller and my oil wrench does not fit this new filter. My oil wrench use to work on HD OEM filter and SMF134. Anyone have experience with this new filter? Is this the wrong filter?

Supposed to be a direct cross.
I can't say for sure that it is but according to this pdf file it is correct.

RE: New AMSOil EaOM134 Oil Filter size?
IMHO, I will not use any more Amsoil filters period! The oil products are superior but the filters are total junk. I have had at least five of their filters blow apart at the seams on five different vehicals i have owned, sure they give me another filter but its a big mess and take a chance of destroying an engine. Before any Amsoil dealers start a flame job on me I also am a dealer.

Here is AMSOil response
Thank you for contacting AMSOIL with your concerns.
In response to your inquiry, AMSOIL has made many positive changes to our motorcycle filter line including higher efficiency media, a silicone anti drain back valve, and double rolled crimping at the can-base plate interface. Due to the change in vendor, the can configuration is slightly different, but performance is not compromised. AMSOIL is offering spider type wrenches to facilitate filter removal. Please see the attached link: http://www.amsoil.com/StoreFront/filterwrenches.aspx
Thank you again for the opportunity to respond to your concerns. As always, please feel free to contact us again if we can be of further assistance.
Sincerely,
