open bleeder on left side let gravity bleed for a short time and then do the same for the right then after do normal pump up and open furthest bleeder from master first then closest as you would under normal conditions

I have a Mity Vac (I think thats the name of it) I bought from Advance auto parts. It has a hose that attachs to the bleeder. You then pump up vaccum, open the bleeder and it will pull the air out and the fluid in from the master cyl. It has worked good for me on the last several bikes

Sometimes it takes it a while. Also in time the air will purge out on it's own.Hang in there.

I have had a power bleeding system similar to Mity Vac since the seventies, best way I know to do any hydraulic brake bleeding.

I've used syringe few times it works pretty good then leave it overnight it takes care of the rest . Hope fully nothing got in master cylinder during swap that can prevent from getting air out properly.

Save yourself the hassle. I just installed speedbleeders on my bike and completely bled all three systems in 30 minutes.

Another trick no matter how you bleed them. Tie the front brake lever back overnight and it will get the last of the air trapped in the lines out.

The ONLY tool you need to bleed front brakes is your hands.

Just need to make sure that the right side of the master cylinder is higher than the left side so that the air bubbles can travel out the ports. Depending on your bars you may have to block the front wheel or rotate the master.

Fill the master and pump, DO NOT let it get low on fluid, after about a minute of pumping you will start to see big bubbles, keep pumping and refilling. The bubbles will get smaller, keep pumping. When the bubbles start getting real small youll start getting some lever pressure.

When the lever pressure builds up to what it should be youll get a little squirt out of the port, if you using DOT 4 make sure to have a rag oround the masre and clean any splash up quick.

Hogdoc....do you still need to open the bleed valve on the caliper still? is it recommended to install a tube and then submerge tube in a bottle of brake fluid?
