Dayton D.O.T. Skull Cap
|
Anyone using this helmet? Does it give you the mushroom look? They say its the smallest DOT made. How do you like it?

i wear the daytona carbon fiber one.
its a bit of mushroomin but really nowhere near most helmets.
took a bit of gettin used to but its really an awesome helmet.
very light, sometimes i forget its on.

the smallest D.O.T. helmet I've ever seen is the one I own from Carbonfiber.com

Check out the outlaw helmets from leatherup.com. Same size as the daytona helmet but a 3rd of the price and DOT approved. Really doesn't look too bad according to a friend who saw mine. Of coarse made in Tiwan

Look at the HCI carbon fiber. $90 and it's only marginally bigger than the ACC.

I just bought the carbon fiber Daytona DOT helmet and it is noticeably smaller than my HD Spoiler hybrid helmet and lighter. Better quality, especially with the liner and fit compared to the other company that can't sell there helmets anymore.
