Ok so here's the deal. My wife normally rides her bike (Sportster) but when we do longer trips or go through busy cities she likes to ride on the back of my street glide, but she doesn't like the stock seat. Since she doesn't ride with me that often I dont want to buy a new seat. Can anyone recomend a afordable gel pad that will fit on the back of the stock seat that makes it more comfortable.
Thanks in advance.
I'll guarantee you that a gel pad is not going to cut it. You should just get a new seat it'll be a nice upgrade for you and save you headache in the long run.

I bought my wife an Alaska Leather gel pad with wool top. She loves that thing. We have the largest touring seat the Mustang makes and she still uses the pad. She can ride for 400 miles a day with no problems. It is not cheap but either is my wife, LOL
H-D Sundowner seat may help your wife, also a detachable back rest. You can pull the back rest when the wife rides her own bike. The Sundowner is a comfortableriders seat also.
I'm a big LePera fan. Their jell doesn't crack in the cold or lose its elasticity in the heat. There are a ton of options from style to cover material. Super nice mom and pop style shop.
I bought an AMS gel pad for the wife. She said it was like sitting on a rock. I went ahead and bought a new seat. Now she's happy. Sold the pad on e-bay.
