Default Kenda Kruz tires

I just mounted a set of Kenda Kruz tires on my bike. At 11,100 miles I finished my second Dunlop rear and the front was about gone. Two tires shipped to my door for about $127 and I mount them myself. The price is right. So far, the bike seems to like to turn quite nicely with the new skins. No highway or rain miles to report on yet.

I never seem to get more than 5-6000 out of a rear tire, regardless of brand. On my Sportsters I used Cheng Shin Barracudas. They were less than $50 shipped, back then. I had them on when I did speed trials at Maxton NC @ 140 MPH and I had them on when I rode the Dragon. I was always pleased with them so I figured I try the cheap route with Pickles.

On the advice of a friend, I'm going to run more air pressure than usual to try and increase tire life. This time will be 38 lbs instead of 30. I'll report back as life progresses.

YMMV, of course.

I've put a couple of hundred miles on these so far. I'm still very happy with them. I ride twisty back road up out of the Ohio River Valley and they are at home being tossed from side to side. I'm no Kenny Roberts or Nicky Hayden but still...... so far so good.

That tire pressure was the killer. I have for many years run 39 in front and 40 in the back, measured cold. I get at least 13,000 out of the rear and twice that on the front, even when pulling a loaded trailer. Check that ire pressure often. Run what you like, but I ain't putting Chinese tires on my Harley.

I'm an original Myth Buster. Nothing wrong with these skins at all.

Dont blame the Dunlops for your low mileage, blame yourself. 40/40

I get 10k on rears but have a very heavy wrist and got 32k out of last front tire I changed on my Road King.

30psi is the problem.
