A good tuner is worth his weight in gold/pics of Bobby's ride
Rode back up to Bobby Mock's Customs today to get a few bugs ironed out in my recent cam install/tune. I felt like a flat spot right at launch, first gear, 1500 to 2100 rpm. Bobby rode it and said "what's the problem" Problem is I don't ride like he does. He proceded to tune the AFR and richen it up in the lower RPMs, after cautioning me I may give up some fuel mileage. Bottom line, after an hour and a half (and no charge) he had my bike running the way I WANTED it to, not the way 'it's supposed to'..Told me to come on back anytime for tweaks (with appointment)...Gotta give the man his props, he knows his stuff! While I was there he was working on his main ride.(one of many). A 2006 American Iron Horse with an S&S 117. He wouldn't tell me what he had done to it of what kind of power it had, but when he fired it up to move it out of the way, it sounded like an old V-8 stock car.
