Default Changing the Accessory fairing switch cap to read Heated Grips

Hello everyone. I have completed my heated grip install on my 2011 Tri Glide.

For extra protection, I wired the switching circuit to my accessory switch.

A couple of years ago, I saw somewhere that you could get custom printed fairing switch caps.

I would like to change my ACC cap to one that reads Heated Grips.

Anyone remember the company that prints these?

Thank you for any and all replies!

Tom, I just made the mistake of looking through the installation instructions for heated grips on the H-D website! Good grief, well done for working your way through them - and best of luck in your quest.

For one thing....the TBW bikes have a right hand grip harness, that runs along side the twist grip harness, out of the bars and into the fairing. It's a 2 pin mini molex connector with a black wire, and a black with white tracer wire.

2nd thing......wire the orange wire and black wire directly to the battery.(the orange wire has a inline fuse in it - 2 amp).

Then wire the red wire to a switched circuit. (I used the accessory connector under the seat. To work the grips I have to 1st turn on the acc switch, and then dial up the grips to the setting you want.

You only have to run the left side grip wires down to the opening on the handlebars, and pull them out. (Easy. There are no wires inside the left side of the handelbar).

I pulled the gas tank and ran the wires in the channel to the battery and accessory plug.

I soldered and shrink wrapped all the connections. That is why it took me 5 hours to do the job, spread out over 2 days. I know that my way of installing the grips is much better than the way the dealer does it.

This all above applies to '09 thru '13 bikes. The '14(I think) & up bikes have the grip wires already ran into the fairing.
