I have a 2010 Road Glide
I am looking to replace the factory exhaust.
On my other bikes I have had true duals,
but I am not fond of the Rinehart or V&H
head pipes. I am looking for some advice
on exhaust. I think I have it narrowed down
to the D&D 2-1 or the Jackpots 2-1-2.
Anyone have an opinion????

I was in the same boat you are in. On my other bike I had a D&D, loved the pipe but thought it would be too loud for my Road Glide. I ended up going with a Dragula 2 into 1 from Frank at Dragos Bike Works. Excellent fit, finish and sound. If you get on it, it barks. They also have awesome customer service. If I were you I would at least give Frank a call and discuss, great guy 815-765-1790. The pipe is also a lot cheaper then the others.

I really like my FatCat with wrapped performance baffle. The performance is unmatched and if you want the dual look get the ghost pipe (I did). Most performance shops that sell and install various brands will tell you that if you're looking for the best performance, no exhaust system on the market has topped the D&D FatCat.

How times have changed....
I had both a Fatcat and a Jackpot on my FLHTK. I can probably dig up dyne charts for the non-believers, but the difference in power was nil. Tiny bit more torque below 3,500 rpm with the Fatcat, tiny bit more horsepower above 5,000 rpm with the Jackpot, but there was effectively no difference worth mentioning, certainly nothing you'd feel while riding.
The big advantages to the Jackpot are these:
- Lifetime warranty, period. D&D gives you a year IIRC.
- You can select from a zillion different mufflers in order to get the sound you want.
- No matter what baffle you get for a Fatcat, it's loud. Some are just loud, others are for masochists and attention ****** only.
I still run a Lowcat on the Night Train, but that's specifically for looks. In the 6 years it's been on the bike, I've had to have the pipe itself re-coated twice, and the heat shields re-coated 3 times - and they're due again.
With all that said, I really like the Fatcat sound....It's like a big-block muscle car. I just wish it wasn't so damn loud.
